I can't really comment much on the price of Epsom salts, as the prices differ so much across the scale but it does appear that this is appropriately priced for a 3kg tub with carry handle.I much prefer compounds like this in resealable tubs/buckets because in bags, the product tends to spoil.These Epsom salts are a great granular size and comes with a scoop for easy dosing. It looks like a tub of glittering crystals or diamonds upon opening lol. I can confirm though, that these are indeed dissolving salts and not diamonds :-( oh well!None the less these are good quality salts which dissolve readily under running warm water and certainly help to relax after a hard day.Recommended dosing levels are between 1 to 4 level scoops to a bath of warm water and they leave your skin feeling refreshed and smoother feeling.I use eposm salts regularly for my feet as well, and use about 1 and half scoop to a bowl of warm water, and they really help my tired feet.Epsom salts have been in use for years and the older generations swear by their properties in relieving all manner of ailments from arthritis pain and swelling, bruises and sprains, fibromyalgia, psoriasis, ingrown toenails, insomnia, sunburn tenderness as well as relaxing sore tired muscles despite there not being much evidence to suggest they actually do anything! Some even suggesting it's simply just the warm water which is doing the work of relieving tiredness and soreness.I however feel better after an Epsom salt bath and my skin feels better and smoother so I'll keep using it just like my parents and grandparents did.I actually suffer from a skin condition which afflicts my ankles and feet (and can affect other areas of the body) and using Epsom salts has helped to control the itchiness and redness of the spots that can appear due to this dermal condition.Thankfully its a harmless condition but the itching can make me itch until they bleed... Epsom salts help to sooth that itchiness in lichen planus.It may not work for everyone though.This tub will last me quite some time and given the quality I will purchase this once it runs out. Plus I like the fact it comes in a tub that I can use for other things when empty lol.The tub is recyclable if you want to chuck it away after finishing.
